MV Elise sets sail on first independent voyage
Another milestone for the Orca Class: MV Elise, one of the first vessels of the groundbreaking Orca Class, has successfully embarked on her first independent voyage.
We welcome Dominik Stehle to the SAL team
We are very delighted to welcome Dominik Stehle as our new Managing Director at SAL Heavy Lift!
Starting 15 February, Dominik will be based at our headquarters in Hamburg and will represent the JSI Alliance worldwide. In his new role, he will lead our global project initiatives as well as the commercial management of our cutting-edge Orca Class vessels.
MV Lone achieves new open-top load load line assignment
We are delighted to announce a significant achievement for our vessel MV Lone. In accordance with existing SPS-Code requirements and in preparation for her upcoming IP-Code certification in February 2025, the vessel has been assigned a new open-top load line, increasing her maximum draft to an impressive 8.5m, boosting the corresponding deadweight capacity by 3300 tons.
